Transmitted Fluorescence Due to Diffuse Drusen
Drusen are yellow deposits that correspond to hyaline material accumulating in Bruch’s membrane. They appear hyperfluoresence on IVFA due to overlying RPE thinning. Atrophy of the RPE enhances the visibility of the underlying choroidal fluorescence.
