Reason for Referral: Diabetic Retinopathy Check

Past Ocular History: PDR, with a history of IVI

Past Medical History: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (HbA1c 12.3%)

Medications: Metformin, Insulin

Ocular gtts: None

Eye Vitals and Examination:

  • VA 20/60 OD, 20/60 OS

  • IOP 14 OD, 18 OS

  • No RAPD, PEARRLA

  • EOM full

  • Retinal neovascularization secondary to proliferative diabetic retinopathy.

    Areas of hyperfluoresence in this IVFA are due to neovascularization and associated leakage of the vessels. Notice the neovascularization elsewhere and the neovascularization of the disc. Hypofluoresence in this IVFA is due to vitreous hemorrhage.
